So I've been lurking, checking my messages and catching new deviations for the past two years without posting any new work. After that long hiatus, I'm thinking of ways of revitalizing my page here with new content and setting up commissions. It's still a maybe, but as 2020 gets closer things will crystalize.

Hey all!

Been a while since I've been on here, much less showing new work (just uploaded some new pieces by the way!).

I've been on DA since 2008 and it's been a wild ride! Seeing the work of so many talented people has really pushed me to become a better artist. A big chunk of my art from the past few years is recorded here on this profile! I've divided my work in folders from 2008 all the way to 2017. You can see there the progression of my skill over the years, and a lot of exploration. And here it will stay for posterity!

With that being stated, my interest and activity on DA has waned over the years, and I find that it's no longer the same for me. There was a lot going on when I first came here, and there were big goals I was aiming for. Things have changed for me over time and I feel like it's the right moment to start not a chapter, but a new book (so to speak). I'm still interested mightily in art, in game design, in film, and in all sorts of creative ventures. That hasn't changed. I want to give myself and my art a new focus however.

So, from this point forward, I will no longer be updating this page (except for possibly ONE MORE update). I will leave it as is, as a testament to the progress I made and the path I walked for 9 years; sharing in this community, being inspired, and helping to inspire. This profile and all the work I've done is like a digital book I've worked on and shared with the world. It is a record of my journey. These are my chronicles. I hope it continues to inspire others who come across it and serves as a reminder that it takes time to build skill but that you can get there with hard work and perseverance.

I might possibly just start a new DA profile and give that profile a different and more guided focus than I did this one. Or I will continue to pour my efforts into other places (like Artstation) and new possible outlets. I'll post that final update sometime in the future if I do end up doing another DA profile. I'll also be checking every now and then for any comments or stuff.

I do have a Facebook art page, but that one is not used much either and will soon be shuttered. I'm thinking of maybe starting an Instagram account, but we'll see. If you want to know what else I'm working on, here are some other links:

Gosh darn aint it hard keeping this up to date!? Anyhow, between my Artstation, Behance, DA and Facebook accounts, I'm pretty stretched. I'm also running a page for one of my games and a website for my game and design company. I'm gonna need to get someone onboard soon to help me manage all this madness.

With that being said, I'm still active on DA! Did plenty of art, but didn't upload much of it. I'm gonna look towards reviewing what I want from my page here, and try to reignite that spark that got me here. I feel as if I'm in another place, art-wise and I'm getting my inspiration from elsewhere and not so much here. Time sure flies! Been here since 2008. Almost 10 years. A lot has transcurred since then.

Anyhow, here's to a great 2017 full of art and new experiences!

Since late December 2014 I havn't written a post or done a update, so decided to write something new so my watchers and anyone else can see I'm still active and intend to continue posting and doing new things with my account here.

Hi all! Just writing to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! This has been kinda of a rough and long year, but its almost over finally! Art-wise, I've seen myself improve by leaps and bounds, but there is still a long road ahead. Scanning through my deviations since I joined the site back in 2008, its clear how far I've come. I've been able to find and follow lots of incredible artists and their works, learn some new techniques and be really inspired. At times I felt like I wasn't getting very far, but I kept pushing and working and im still here and im glad to say that alot of hard work has payed off.

I didn't upload as much this year though though there is plenty I could have. I guess it simply wasn't up to my standards or becuase I felt it was too conceptual in nature. I think though that I should start uploading exploratory sketches and concepts up again as they provide a glimpse into my work process. As well as uploading more traditional work along my digital work.

I still have a few deviations I'd like to upload before the year is out, but I would also like to create an original piece to really close this year with a bang. So stay tuned! And again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope you eat great food, and have lots of fun among family and friends during the festivities! God bless!
